NSCSA Safety Policy

We commit to develop a positive occupational health and safety culture within the Nova Scotia construction industry through the provision of quality, accessible and affordable services. This commitment encompasses the way we view our industry, and the way we govern our actions.

Everyone is responsible and accountable for the Association's overall safety initiatives. Active participation by everyone, everyday, in every job is necessary to achieve the safety excellence the Association expects.

We expect all employees to participate in our safety programs and will provide appropriate equipment, training and procedures. Everyone will be responsible for working safely, following all procedures, and whenever possible, improving safety measures.

An injury and accident-free workplace is our goal. Working together in a spirit of co-operation and consultation, we can accomplish this goal.
