Online COR Info
There is now a new and faster way to submit your company safety evaluation to the NSCSA. The new online evaluation instrument allows you the flexibility of completing your NSCSA safety evaluation from any computer with Internet access.
Step One
Set up your online evaluation:
- fax in a company information form (click here for a PDF form)
- If you have any questions, or have trouble viewing the PDF, please call the NSCSA COR Department at 1-800-971-3888 ext 21, 27 or 35 (Toll free in Nova Scotia) or (902) 468-6696 ext 21, 27 or 35
Processing will take approximately two business days. A COR representative will take your company information and a username and password to allow you access to the on-line COR instrument from the NSCSA website.
Step Two - Login
Login by going to audit.nscsa.org/
Enter your username and password and hit the "log in" button, you will be taken directly to your evaluation instrument.
Step Three - Completing Your Evaluation
The evaluation instrument is the same as the paper version except in how you access each section. To access the required questions, just click on the section heading on the left hand side. This will open the corresponding section for you to complete.
You assign your score for each question in the right hand column. This score should reflect the interview, observation and documentation check boxes for each corresponding question. We can not process your evaluation if the appropriate boxes are not checked.
Note any comments in the comment or observation section. Here you may enter any information you feel was not covered in the section.
If you are unsure of what a certain question means, refer to the FAQs at the top of each section. If you are still unsure about a question, call the NSCSA for assistance.
Step Four - Submitting the Section
To submit the section, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the submit button. You can re-access the section at any time (until you submit the completed evaluation).
Step Five - Submitting the Evaluation
To submit your completed audit, click on the "Submit Evaluation" button on the bottom of the summary page. The "Submit Evaluation" button will send the information you entered while filling out your evaluation to the NSCSA. Once you have submitted your evaluation, you can not make any more changes to your evaluation and you will not have access to the online evaluation instrument.
Problems?
If you receive an error message, go back to the login page and re-enter your username and password. If the problem persist, call the NSCSA at (902) 468-6696 ext 35.
The NSCSA performs random spot evaluations to ensure the integrity of the process.
