A course to help supervisors and management personnel identify and control the underlying causes of work site injuries, accidents and incidents.
This program is intended for OH&S managers and supervisors seeking a greater depth of expertise in COR evaluations to the NSCSA standard. Participants will examine and demonstrate advanced evaluation techniques in a series of hands-on participatory exercises. The week concludes with a "Team Evaluation" with an existing NSCSA health and safety professional on an actual employer site.
Provides personnel with an understanding of the hazards related to working in a confined space environment. This course looks at the proper safe work practices and procedures for confined spaces as well as rescue considerations and meets the minimum requirements for workers and supervisors who enter into confined space areas. Federal and provincial regulations are also examined.
Designed to give technical and hands-on training for confined space entry and non-entry rescue. Topics include: ventilation, testing, respiratory protective equipment, lockout/tagout systems and non-entry rescue.
Pre-requisite-current NSCSA Confined Space I
An accelerated re-certification course for anyone who has taken NSCSA Confined Space Entry I within the past two years.
